Accessorizing for Orange Day

March 23, 2010

Starting March 27 -- UGM wants you to get out and have some fun in our beautiful city without spending money, then donate what you saved to help a Vancouverite in need at UGM! We're celebrating the city and raising money to serve a delicious Easter Dinner at UGM on April 2, to over 3,000 people in need across Metro Vancouver. Every one of our guests -- many of whom are being tallied up right now as part of the city's homeless count -- will receive a fresh orange at the end of the meal. We call it Orange Day.

But you know that already, because you've read the blog entries (like the fantastic write-ups from Vancouver mainstays Gus Digital and Jennifer Stoddart), you've heard the #orangeday chatter on Twitter, and you remember the fun from last year's Orange Day.

Show your support for UGM’s Orange Day campaign by accessorizing your online identity with official Orange Day flash. The more people see/hear about Orange Day with your help, the more that Vancouver will be transformed by the funnest, freshest, philantrophy

The Orange Day Dot!

Put the orange dot on your profile photo (on Facebook, Twitter, or any network) to show your support for UGM’s Orange Day campaign! We’re not asking you to switch up your prolific public persona, but add a little orange dot to your profile photo – any size, any placement – like one of those Lance Armstrong bracelets. Kinda.

Twitter Backgrounds

A lazy, stretching expanse of orangey gradient, like a tropical Tahiti sunset – or maybe one of those old-school bottles of Orange crush – complete with a dash of Orange Day happiness. Tell your friends, your fans, your followers who visit your Twitter page that you’re all over this Orange Day business.
