It is only 3 days until UGM's massive Easter Dinner. All of the ingredients are being delivered to our kitchens this week as well. UGM’s chefs are starting to prepare the meal that will feed over 3,000 people on Friday.This week the UGM team hit the street and started promoting our glorious Easter Dinner in the Downtown Eastside.Barb and Bruce, who oversee UGM’s outreach teams, were met with big smiles while they were putting up orange posters and spreading the word all over the DTES.
But we still need your help. Try some of our Frugal Orange Day ideas and see if you have anything you can squeeze for UGM, then donate online. Whether it's $0.32 or $320, we appreciate it, and it makes a huge difference.
If you can’t squeeze anything, help spread the word! Everyone’s getting in on the action. Orange Day was even mentioned in the Vancouver Sun.
