John Chow will double your donation

October 06, 2008

Looking to make a difference this Thanksgiving? Don't just donate to Union Gospel Mission -- double your gift by letting John Chow help out. John Chow is one of Vancouver's most notable bloggers, who writes about everything from making money online to what he ate for dinner last night. It has become somewhat of a tradition for John Chow to use his blog as a platform for supporting Union Gospel Mission: John asks his readers to donate to UGM, then forward their email confirmation receipts to him, and he'll then match their donations, up to $1000 per donation. This Thanksgiving, John Chow is once again asking his readers to pitch in.
Last Easter, the John Chow community helped raise over $7500 for Union Gospel Mission. With these gifts, UGM was able to serve over 3000 meals to Vancouver's less fortunate. Thanks to the amazing generosity of John Chow's web community, Union Gospel Mission will be able to continue to make a difference in the lives of Vancouver's hungriest.

"I did not come from money," writes John on his blog. "I am where I am today because I know that in order to receive any blessings in life, you must first give. The more you give, the more you receive."
