Every night, men and women without homes make their beds in back alleys, in parks, and on benches throughout Metro Vancouver, while others take refuge in emergency shelters. We believe that each of these men and women deserve God-given dignity.

Take a moment to consider all the products you use during your morning routine – soap, antiperspirant, a toothbrush. Though these are basic hygiene items for many of us, for others, they are luxuries.

Care Kits, an initiative created to bless thousands of struggling men and women in Metro Vancouver and the City of Mission, include basic care items that can go a long way in restoring dignity and self-esteem. Outreach Workers will offer the items to those in need along with words of encouragement, sharing God’s amazing love for each of us.

Your generosity will help restore dignity to people that often get overlooked.

Please Note: We ask that donors be vigilant in not including products containing alcohol, such as hand sanitizer or mouthwash, as they can easily be misused and cause significant health risks.

Donations may be dropped off at any of these various Union Gospel Mission locations between March 1st -April 8th, 2012 :

  • Vancouver-- 616 Cordova Street (Monday-Friday 9am-4:30pm)
  • New Westminster-- 658 Clarkson Street (Monday-Friday 12:30pm-3pm)
  • Mission-- 33071 Railway Avenue (Monday-Friday 12pm-4pm)
