Easter Dinner Will Bring Hope

March 20, 2008

At Union Gospel Mission, we believe hope begins with a meal. On Good Friday many hungry, hurting and homeless people will have a chance for renewed hope. With the help of over 250 volunteers, we plan to serve over 3,000 meals in six of our Greater Vancouver facilities to many guests who have lost hope. Guests will enjoy a lovingly prepared ham dinner and apple pie with ice cream for dessert!
After being greeted by caring staff and volunteers at the door, guests will hear an uplifting message of hope, light, love and the healing power of Jesus Christ. In this season of renewal, our outreach team will be close at hand to offer information on UGM's many programs and services that can help guests make a fresh start.
