2010 marks UGM’s 70th anniversary. Ever since our first days in 1940, it’s been the volunteers and donors who make the good work of UGM happen. We want to show our gratitude to those who continue to put their heart into helping Vancouver’s hungry, hurting and homeless, and we need your help to do it.

Union Gospel Mission's Thank-a-thon is just around the corner and we are looking for ready and willing volunteers to help us let our donors know we appreciate them! Thank-a-thons are an opportunity for UGM to acknowledge the donors who have so graciously given financial gifts to the mission. As a volunteer you will assist in calling UGM’s donors to simply thank them for the difference they are making in the our community. There will be an introduction to the evening and you’ll be given sample scripts to help you along, as well as amazing statistics you can share with donors – there will be no solicitation.
We plan on this Thank-a-thon being our largest yet, which will mean many different nights where we have a need for volunteers – any night that you can help out on would be greatly appreciated. Thank-a-thon volunteers are needed from 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm on the following nights:
Jan. 19th – Jan. 21st
Jan. 25th – Jan. 28th
Feb. 1st – 4th
