Shift Supervisor, Sanctuary (Permanent, Full-Time)
Are you a mature Christian who models Christ in word and deed? Are you passionate about walking alongside women and their infant children, as well as caring and providing leadership to those who do the same? Do you have strong teamwork and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with marginalized women and lead activities for them? If so, the Sanctuary Shift Supervisor might be a great fit for you.
Support Worker, Sanctuary (Permanent, Part-Time)
Are you adaptable, client-centered, collaborative, and service-oriented? Do you have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy building positive relationships with marginalized women in the Downtown Eastside? If you have related work or volunteer experience, can successfully set healthy boundaries with demanding individuals and those in crisis, and possess a class 5 driver’s license, this might be a great opportunity for you.
Receptionist, Hastings (Auxiliary, Full-Time)
Do you desire to show the love of Jesus, intentionally connecting with our DTES community members, and have a unique ability to be caring and also firm with demanding individuals? Can you multitask effectively while completing duties such as answering and directing calls, receiving deliveries, and handling money? Manager, Men’s Recovery Services (Permanent, Full-Time)
The Manager, Men’s Recovery, is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the men’s Alcohol and Drug (A&D) Recovery team, including program development, operations and personnel issues that arise. You will be involved in discerning vision and designing ministry programs that utilize best practices and foster effective outcomes, as UGM develops into a respected leader in the field in BC and beyond.
