Jobs at UGM

Development Officer, Principal Giving (Permanent, Full-Time)

The Opportunity

At Union Gospel Mission fundraising is key to being able to offer the life changing services we provide day of the year. As a Development Officer Principal Giving you would use your fundraising skills, a few years of experience and great interpersonal rapport to cultivate and steward our major gift donors. As the ideal candidate you will be really comfortable meeting donors, building relationships and discovering ways to continue and grow their generous gifts. You’d be strategic with your time and planning, well prepared for meetings and always looking for ways to add new donors at the major gift level. You’d be part of an amazing team of fundraisers that love their work because it creates hope and new beginnings for the many that are often marginalized or overlooked. If your skills and heart resonate with this description we want to hear from you.

You may come into contact with clients in crisis situations, brought about by diverse problems.  There will be other staff nearby to assist as required.

This is a permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week) position. For a copy of the full job description, click on the "Download Job Description" button on the left panel of this page.
