Social Enterprise Sewing Assistant, (Auxiliary, Part-Time)

The Opportunity

Is sewing a passion for you? Can you sew garments, make repairs and use your imagination to repurpose clothing for future use? Could you see yourself sharing your skill with others and providing a means of income for individuals striving to develop skills and self-worth?  In this role you can use your sewing, teaching and patient people skills to make a difference for individuals and repair clothing that can be sold in the UGM Thrift Store which supports the UGM programs that change lives and provide hope. You may come into contact with clients in crisis situations, brought about by diverse problems.  There will be other staff nearby to assist as required.

The start wage for this position is $16.12 per hour
