Men’s Alcohol and Drug Recovery
In order to help men walk a new path in life and reach their recovery goals, UGM offers a structured and comprehensive Alcohol & Drug Recovery Program. UGM’s A&D Recovery Program is strategically and compassionately designed to help men who want freedom from addiction re-shape and re-build their lives.

The Sanctuary
The Sanctuary will be the headquarters for UGM’s Women’s Stabilization Programs. The Sanctuary provides a temporary home for women who want to work towards recovery, but who aren’t quite sure how to navigate that path just yet. During their stay, women struggling with poverty, homelessness, or addiction receive support as they consider a recovery-centred life.

Lydia Home
No woman should have to transition to recovery without compassionate support. At Lydia Home, women struggling with addiction receive time, holistic care, and support to help each woman transform her life. Compassionate staff and gifted counsellors come alongside women as they build a future that’s founded on hope and freedom from addiction.

Maurice McElrea Place Housing
Warm, safe and supportive independent living suites for men and women who are committed to maintaining a sober lifestyle. Maurice McElrea Place is located in a culturally diverse neighbourhood, near schools, clinics, and restaurants.

The Orchard Housing
The Orchard townhouse complex offers both subsidized and low-rent units for family-oriented living. All housing facilities offer men, women and families a safe, warm, supportive and affordable place to call home. Located in a family-friendly neighbourhood near schools, clinics, restaurants and a theatre. The Orchard also offers a variety of of amenities, activities and programs.
Shelter

Shelter Referrals
Our Men's Shelter offers a safe place to rest, access to hot showers and hygiene items, and care and spiritual guidance. Through relationship-building and case management, shelter guests can work toward finding housing, recovery and other goals.
